He was predeceased by: his parents, Sanders Peters and Mary Fujarous Peters; his daughters, Mary Gauden and Debbie Stump; and his siblings, Marie Walko and Alex Peters.
He is survived by: his wife Charla Eland Peters; his children, John Joseph Peters (JJ) and Kathy Olszewski (Chuck); his stepchildren, Ruth Ann Farmer (Tony), Edward Ludwick (Lori), Brian Ludwick (Donna Saxberg), Tricia Barbera (Frank) and Rusty Ludwick (Melissa); and his siblings, Irene Fossi, Bertha McShane, Betty MacDonald, Barb Dull, Suzie Dove, Margaret Elkins and John Peters. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, 10 step grandchildren, 7 great step grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Eley Mccrory Funeral Home, Inc. (334 Main St, Fayette City, PA 15438). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
