She was predeceased by: her parents, George Charles and Mary Pauline Swade (Creevy); her husband Nicholas M. Mappas; and her siblings, Patricia Swade Kovach, Rosemary Swade Titler, John "Jack" Swade and George F. Swade.
She is survived by: her nephew Ron Kovach (Beth Ann) of Charleroi; her sister-in-law Judy Swade (George) of Torrance, CA; her close friends, Denise Spark, Jenny Poroda and Lisa DeZardo; and her nieces, Jaclyn Sedlak and Danielle Skrypak. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Epiphany of Our Lord Church (44 Pennsylvania Blvd, Monessen, PA 15062). A burial will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at the Holy Name Cemetery (1542 Rostraver St, Monessen, PA 15062).
