He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. Dornan and Gladys Binley Dornan; his wife Betty "B. J." Jackson Dornan; and his siblings, Charles Dornan and Patricia "Jeane" Summerville.
He is survived by: his children, Adam Schottenheimer (Sue) of Monongahela, Bill Schottenheimer (Kristyn) of Pleasant Hills and Patti Miller (Brandon) of Monongahela; his brothers, George Dornan of Santee, Paul Dornan (Barbara) of Washington, DC and Robert Dornan (Connie) of State College; and his sister-in-law Betty Dornan of Monongahela. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
