It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry J. Hoosac of Monongahela, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 10, 2026, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Sr. Hoosac and Irene Hoosac (Gregg); his brother Leon; and his siblings-in-law, Clarence Manning, Mary Lou Hoosac and Elizabeth "Libby" Hoosac.
He is survived by: his wife Nell Hoosac (Barkey); his daughter Amber Lopez-Zavrel (John) of Hazle; his siblings, John Hoosac of Brownsville, Anna Manning of New Eagle, Adaline Biagini (Rich) of New Eagle and Charlotte Hoosac of New Eagle; his grandchildren, Alexa Martin of Canonsburg, Anthony Martin (Anjelica) of McDonald, Laila Martin of Monongahela, Ethan Lopez of Hanover Twp and Johnelys Lopez; his great grandchildren, Arlie, Anthony and Aynslie Martin; his sisters-in-law, Linda Hoosac of New Eagle and Yola Hoosac; and his niece Deborah Jackson of Belle Vernon. He is also survived by other loving nieces and nephews.
