It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maurice B Wade Sr. of Monongahela, Pennsylvania, born in Naruna, Virginia, who passed away on March 29, 2023, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Wade and Lottie Wade; his former life partner Dorothy Taylor-Wade; his son Clark O. Wade, Sr.; and his siblings, Georgia Peterson, Avel Wilcox, Eleanor Johnson, Dorlena Stone, James O. Wade and Norma Carter.

He is survived by : his child Evangelism; his uncles, Morse, Elder Wade, Rev. Wade and Bishop Wade; his wife Supervisor Mildred Young Wade; his sister Joretta Lyons of New York; his adoptive daughter Cheryl (Elder Kevin); his grandchildren, Maurice Wade, III, Cher Redwood (Paul), Michael Wade, Matthew Wade, Melissa Brock (Bishop David), Tiffany Wade, Clark Wade, Jr. and Mark Carter; and also Bishop Wade. He is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren, three great, great-grandchildren; a host of nephews, nieces, and extended family and friends.
