Sophie Piscitelli Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 21, 2025, at the age of 100, Sophie Piscitelli of Monongahela, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanislaw Durka and Anelia Jackowski Durka; her husband James N. Piscitelli; her daughters, Angelina Feick (Larry) and Lucille Uhutch; and her siblings, Lucille Minno, Joseph, Matthew, James, Thaddeas and Louis Michael Durka.
She is survived by: her son Anthony "Buddy" Piscitelli (Sharon) of Greensburg; her son-in-law Ed Uhutch of Charleroi; her grandchildren, Marie Feick of Monongahela, Alexis Piscitelli (Chad Barclay) of Michigan, Larry Feick (Lisa) and AJ Piscitelli of Ohio; and her sister-in-law Bea Durka. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Frye Funeral Home, Inc. (427 W Main St, Monongahela, PA 15063). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Frye Funeral Home (427 W Main St, Monongahela, PA 15063).
