He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Johnson and Mary Johnson (Potter); his in-laws, Florence and Robert Stoudt; and his sister Julie.
He is survived by: his wife Florence M. Johnson (Stoudt); his children, George Jr. (Heather), Tanya Johnson (Jamane) and Todd Pierce (Kim); his siblings, Harry Johnson (Kathy), Bill Johnson (Bonnie), Terry Johnson, Jack Johnson (Sylvia), Jeanie Northrup (Jim), Susie Stewart (Joe), Leola Baker (Ted) and Maryellen Jones; his nieces, Jessie Fowler (Howard) and Kris Watkins; his family, Brandon, Erin and Deb; his close friends, Laura, Libby, Mike and Dale; his pet Hollybugs; and his friend Shorty. He is also survived by his ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Larnard Hornbrook Park (1241 Hornbrook Rd, Towanda, PA 18848).
