With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Margaret J. Durnin of Monroeton, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Margaret J. left this world on July 19, 2025 at the age of 75, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Calvin Jenks and Patricia Bickelhaupt Jenks; her husband Philip A. Durnin; her brothers, Richard Jenks and Thomas; her sister-in-law Janet Jenks; her sister Kathleen Harm; and her nephew Eric Jenks.
She is survived by: her children, Stacy L. and Jeffrey A. Durnin; her brother Michael Jenks; and her siblings-in-law, Linda Jenks and William Harm. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (5 Court St, Towanda, PA 18848). A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions may be directed to the First Presbyterian Church, 5 Court St. Towanda, PA 18848 or to Guthrie Hospice, 421 Tomahawk Road, Towanda, PA 18848 in Margaret J. Durnin's memory.
