Ching-Yu Lin Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on March 10, 2021, Ching-Yu Lin (Monroeville, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Janet of Taiwan; his children, Winston Lin (Winlynn) and Emily Driscoll (Chris); his grandchildren, Audrey and Matthew; and his children, Literature and Stony Brook.

Due to COVID-19, there will be no services.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests any donations be made in Dr. Lin's memory to either the American Stroke Association or St. Jude.

“I just learned today of Mr. Lin's passing and want to let everyone know how very sorry I am. His gentle presence in our neighborhood was so highly valued. I especially remember how he helped me so much, without me ever asking, put my trashcans away each week because I would get home too late in the evening after my long drive to and from work. I pray that his family is well and able to find peace in knowing that he was able to touch the lives of others in a way that helped them. Peg Christopher”
