He was predeceased by: his parents, Neziline Scott and Ernest Jacob Scott Sr.; his father-in-law Cephus Huff; his siblings, Betty Jean Andrews, Shirley Ann Singletary, Thomas, Joseph, William and Ray; and his siblings-in-law, Joseph Pryor, Anita and Savannah Scott.
He is survived by: his wife Renee Smith; his mother-in-law Juanita Smith-Huff; his children, Jennifer, LaTricia (Steve), DeAndre (Sharon) and LaKeisha; his grandchildren, Auveonce (Philip), Moriah, Layla, Aaron, Elijah, Stevie, Delilah and Josiah; his great grandchild Princeton; his siblings, Dora Lee Pryor, Ernest Jr., Robert, Tyrone (Victoria) and Sylvia Elliott (Raymond); and his siblings-in-law, Renard, Kimberly, Jamilla (Vernon) and Stacey (James).
