He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elmer Hemmerle and Betty Hemmerle; his wife Margaret West; his children, Michael Hemmerle (Catherine), Sarah Weifenbaugh (Mark) and Stephen Hemmerle (Rosio); his grandchildren, Nathan and Sophia; and his siblings, Judy Roitz, John Hemmerle (Ann), Janet Radka (Pete) and Jeff Hemmerle (Janele). He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
