He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Semmens Bishop and Helen Queen Bishop Holt; his wife Elaine; his sons, James R. Bishop Jr. (Patricia) and Paul E. Bishop (Lauren); his grandchildren, Ross, Lindsey, James, Alivia and Nick; and his great grandchildren, Roscoe, Silas, Coral, Cloud, Max, Seth and Reed.
