She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry Sommer and Faymie Sommer; her sisters, Laura Marie Sommer, Mildred Keaton (James) and Faymie Dawkins (Harry); her niece Karen Blicher (Joe); and her nephew Harry Dawkins (Carol).

She is survived by : her nieces and nephews, Peggy Roche (John), Nancy Barnhart (late Carl), Laura Kareis (Scott) and Ruthanne Corbin (late Tom).
