He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Sapos and Margaret Sapos. He is survived by: his wife Claudia Welling of Monroeville; his brother Stephen Sapos Jr. (Mary) of Fort Mill; his children, John Sapos (Amanda) of Adams Township, Christopher Sapos (Terri) of McKeesport, Megan Sapos of Whitaker, Alyssa Muto (Patrick) of Plum Borough and Gabrielle Carbonara (Katrina) of Seattle, Washington; his grandchildren, Meghan McClelland (Jordan) of Mt. Pleasant, Kenneth Sapos (Ashley) of Elizabeth, Reese Yonich of Irwin, Nolan Sapos of Fox Chapel, Michael Sapos of McKeesport, Alexander Muto, Everett Muto and Gabriel Muto of Plum; and his great grandchildren, Baylor Sapos and Ivy Sapos of Elizabeth.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Savolskis-Wasik-Glenn Funeral Home Inc. (3501 Main St, Munhall, PA 15120). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Corpus Christi Church - Mary Mother of God Parish (2515 Versailles Ave, McKeesport, PA 15132).
