She was predeceased by: her parents, William Taylor and Ola Campbell; and her brother Chet Taylor. She is survived by: her husband Dick Almes; her children, Richard Almes (Gayle), William Almes (Shari) and Laura Mauser (Tim); her sister Diana White (Allen); her sister-in-law Maureen Weller (Jim); her grandchildren, Richard (Ryan), Jayce (Marybeth), Carly (Ryan), Mark, Nicholas, Jeremy and Nathan; and her great grandchildren, Whit, Rhett, Wade, Ella, Colvin and Kennedy.

In lieu of flowers, you may contribute to the Pittsburgh Food Bank.

“Unfortunately due to geography, I never had the privilege of getting to know my Aunt Pat the way I would love to have, and that goes for th entire Almes family that isn't in NY. What I do know about my Aunt Pat is that she was beautiful inside and out. I remember that she always put herself together and looked nice, and that's an awesome quality, it shows she cared. She was always smiling. In my opinion, my Uncle Dick and Aunt Pat were put on this earth to be together. She's going to be missed.”
