He was predeceased by: his father Charles Spring; and his brother Philip Spring. He is survived by: his children, Lauri Deane, Kevin Spring and Jason Spring; his grandchildren, Leo and Valentine; his siblings, Charles Spring (Rose) and Elizabeth Merchant (Allan); and his friend Kaye Wentling. He is also survived by four nephews and a niece.
