He is survived by: his foster son Roger Gardner; his sister Cheryl Bender (Jim); his brother-in-law William Dinneen; his nieces and nephews, Robert Cook (Jodi Lynn), Richard Cook, Charles Cook (Jodi), Michael Cook, David Whitehead (Candace) of Jonathan, J. J., Geoffrey Egnitz, James Toth (Kathy), Lacey Stepien, Carol Baer (Charles) and Carol Noel (Richard); his sisters-in-law, Nancy Egnitz Andres and Patricia Toth; his cousins, Patricia Martin (JC), Judy, Dennis, Bill Reddinger and Carol Gerhard; and his close friend Wayne Brennan (Skippy).
