He was predeceased by: his parents, A. Jean Baker (Bittinger) and Gerald W. Baker, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Delores J. Baker (Wagaman); his daughters, Barbara A. Lowson (John) of Waynesboro, Lorie A. Cross (Denny) of Hagerstown and Holly L. Stewart (Dwayne) of Laurel, MD; his grandchildren, Jonathan Lowson (Alyssa), Michael Lowson, Allison Kirby (James), Candice Borro (Domenic), Darius Stewart and Halie Stewart; his great grandchildren, Raven Lowson, Abigail Kirby, Maddox Kirby, Giovanni Borro, Genevieve Borro and Giuliani Borro; his stepgrandchildren, Destinie Samuel and Kahlil Stewart; and his sister Beverly Spicer of Mont Alto. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; as well as a host of extended family.
