He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Sanford and Minnie Heishman (Campbell); his son Todd J. Heishman; and his sisters, Stella Mae Heishman and Thelma Snapp.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy K. Heishman (Wagaman); his children, Amy E. Campbell of Holly Springs, NC, Anita L. Powell of Waynesboro and Mark E. Heishman; and his siblings, Dorothy Heishman of Glenolden, PA and Earl L. Heishman of Winchester, VA. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; one great-grandson.
