She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles W. "Bill" Steward and Elizabeth Steward (Green); her husband Robert R "Bob" Wertz; and her siblings, Clay Steward and Cindy Morningstar.
She is survived by: her siblings, Suzanne Hinkle (Tom) of Chattanooga, TN, Charles "Toby" Steward (Susan) of Cogan Station, Daniel Steward (Lyn) of Duncan, SC and Deborah Stout (Larry) of Montgomery. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
