With solemn reverence, we commemorate Doris I. Carnese of Montrose, Pennsylvania, whose life came to an end on September 19, 2025 at the age of 97, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph D. Lewis and Edna M. Lewis (Cross); her former husband Joseph Carnese; her children, Jill Cook (Mike), Doreen Obetz and Joseph (Jean); her son-in-law Mike Diekman; her brothers, Raymond Lewis and Clifford Lewis (Sharon); her daughter Joyce Diekman; her siblings, Melba Broman, Margaret Connors, Bertha Stone, Ralph, Delbert, Robert, Ivan and David Lewis; and her pet Peaches.
She is survived by: her husband Joe. She is also survived by six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM at the Daniel K. Regan Funeral Home (232 S Main St, Montrose, PA 18801). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mary Church (278 S Main St, Montrose, PA 18801).
