He was predeceased by: his father Harry L. Dawes; his sister Christy Marie Harbol; and his nephew Ronald Dawes, Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Betty Elaine Dawes (Wilson); his sons, Devon Dawes of Baltimore, MD and Ezra Dawes of Tunkhannock, PA.; and his siblings, Ronald Dawes of Elmira, NY, Mike (Wendy Dawes), Lawrence (Jennifer Dawes) and Juanita (Derrick Jayne). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
