With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janice Colleen Sprout of Montrose, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 25, 2026 at the age of 87. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Groover and Anna Groover (Cragle); her husband Edward William Sprout; her siblings, Pauline (Robert), Loren Groover and Harold Groover, Jr. (Cora); and her siblings-in-law, Deforest Chalker, Barbara Groover, Spencer (Mary) and Roger Sprout (Peggy).
She is survived by: her siblings, Louise Chalker (Groover) of Montrose and Ross Groover of South Montrose; her siblings-in-law, Preston, Valerie of Montrose, Craig, Betsy of Montrose, Eric, Cynthia of Meshoppen, John and Ruth of South Montrose; and her grandchildren, Justin Sprout (Carla), Cory Sprout (Alicia Roe), Alyssa Sprout (Nick Johnson), Jenna Simpson (Dustin), Ryan Sprout, Christian Sprout (Reagan), Rachel Clawson (Cole), Brittney Sheridan (Jimmy), Hannah Ciprich (Craig), Daniel Sprout (Kaitlyn Dabulewicz), Claire Plantz (Hunter), Grace Sprout, Samantha Sprout, Joel Sprout and Mason Sprout.
