He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Collins, (Bell) and John F. Collins, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Collins; his daughter Nicole Collins Peet; his stepdaughters, Jennifer Shelp (Scott) and Kelly Kuehn (Lee); his grandchildren, Taylor Hughes (Justin), Zachary Peet, Brett Shelp, Travis Novakowski (Taylor), Lucas Kuehn and Abby Shelp; his great grandchild Jackson Roger Hughes; his brother William; and his sister-in-law Lori Collins. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
