He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter G. Lathrop and Ada C. Lathrop; and his wife Sandra B. Lathrop. He is survived by: his children, Steven Lathrop (Anne), Shannon Shedd (Joseph) and Aaron Lathrop; his stepchildren, Deborah Lewis (Bill), Kristine Loomis (Tim) and Dana Gilhool (Joe); his grandchildren, Kathryn, Elizabeth, Thomas and Addyson; his stepgrandchildren, Alex (Bryan), Matt (Talitha), Nicki (Corey), Chris, Justin, Anna, Meghan (Jack), Maddy (Caden) and Brennan; his great grandchildren, Mila and Tate; his brother Dick Lathrop (Christine); his siblings-in-law, Linda Christy and Jerry Brown (Carol); and his pet Cassie.
