We are sad to announce that on January 30, 2025, at the age of 89, David George Dunkis of Moon Township, Pennsylvania, born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, David George is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that David George's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Dunkis (Russin) and Charles Dunkis; and his daughter Nancy Dunkis. He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his sons, Jeff Spragg (Heather Havey) of Oakland, CA and Greg Spragg (Tina) of Aliquippa, PA; his sister Mary Anne Goodwin of Largo, FL; and his brother-in-law Nick Nemec (Dee) of Robinson Township, PA.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Stephen's Anglican Church in the name of David Dunkis.
