He was predeceased by : his parents, Rufus Phillipy and Emma Phillipy (Frantz). He is survived by : his wife Eleanor Phillipy (Zakan); his grandchildren, David Phillipy, Elizabeth Lamping (Timothy), Whitney Phillipy, Demi Phillipy and Rebecca Leibrick; his great grandchildren, Noah, Emma and Mary Lamping; and his sisters, Orpha Shoener and Fern Hitz. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
