She was predeceased by : her parents, Rosario Floro and Concetta Floro; her husband Anthony Cortese; her daughters, Sara Christianson (Marcus) and Mary Demoret (David); and her siblings, Jennie DeMeis, Rose Trunzo and Frank Floro.

She is survived by : her son Anthony Cortese (Christine); her grandchildren, Alexandra Sell (Justin), Stacey Cook, MD (Justin), Danielle Demoret and Michael Demoret (Amanda); her great grandchildren, Katherine Cook, Elizabeth Cook and Theresa "Tess" Sell; and her sister Anna Bell. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren like only an Italian grandmother.
