He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin L. Hower and Hilda J. Hower (Houser); and his wife Joyce Stacel Hower. He is survived by: his children, Johanna Hower (Ed Kairis) and Jonathan Hower (Lynda); his grandchildren, Colton Hower (Toni) and Abigail Hower; and his siblings, Donald Hower and Louise Costello (Keith).
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association - Greater Pittsburgh Chapter, or West Hills Food Pantry, Moon Township.
