It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ronald J. Urban of Moosic, Pennsylvania, born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 27, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother John "Jack" Urban. He is survived by: his wife Marietta Romano; his children, Lisa and Ron Jr. (Janine); his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Shoemaker, Karli and Sarah Urban; his great grandchildren, Atticus, Eloise Walsh, Leonardo Urban-Faltynowicz, Sophia and Mark Bueche; and his stepgranddaughter Kamryn Tisikalas.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Semian Funeral Home (704 Union St, Taylor, PA 18517). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Divine Mercy Parish (312 Davis St, Scranton, PA 18505). The military honors will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM at the Cathedral Cemetery (1708 Oram St, Scranton, PA 18504).
