He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Earl Claycombe and Helen Overbeck Claycombe of Chicago, IL.; his brother Hugh O. Claycombe; his wife Grace Edwards Claycombe; and his daughter Helen Grace Claycombe.
He is survived by: his children, Miriam Ann Kornacki, Howard Earl Claycombe, III, John Edwards Claycombe and Peter Overbeck Claycombe; his granddaughters, Stephanie Trachtenberg (Marc Trachtenberg) of Colorado and Ashley Taylor Murphy (Isaac Murphy); his great grandchildren, Sanford Joel and Abram Grant Trachtenberg; and also Christopher Kornacki.
