She was predeceased by : her parents, Mary Smith and John Smith; and her sister Patricia Kommer. She is survived by : her sons, John Marthaler (Lori), James Marthaler and Joseph Marthaler; her brother Kevin Smith (Jeanie); and her grandchildren, Hannah, Sean, Sophia and Sarah Marthaler. She is also survived by relatives and close friends.
