She was predeceased by: her uncle Albert Gibson; her parents, Nathaniel Gibson and Hattie Gibson; her brother Gary Gibson; her niece Juanita Jones-Askew; and her grandson Rian Jones-Cook.

She is survived by: her aunt Dorothy Gibson; her daughter Richea Christine Jones; her husband Richard Jones; her grandson Richeon Jones-Cook; her adoptive son Kyneef Jones; her brothers, Nathaniel "Butch" Gibson and David Gibson; her siblings-in-law, Tiffany Gibson, Glen Jones and Juan Jones; her nephews, David Jr. and Michael Gibson; her close friend Sheila Jones; and her pet Pebbles. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and dear friends.
