She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Bortree and Cora Bortree (Batzel); her son Arthur Jeffrey; and her brothers, Howard, Jr. and William.
She is survived by: her children, Tammie McLain (Michael) of Lake Ariel, Lisa Jones (Allen) of Madison Twp, Richard Malcolm (Kathy) of Largo, FL, Gary Malcolm (Diane) of Sterling Twp, Walter Jeffrey, Tom Jeffrey (Sandy) of Mt. Cobb, Ronald Jeffrey (Kathy) and Craig Jeffrey of New Mexico; her sisters, Sandra Stark (Judson) of Maryland and Eileen Beavers (Ronald "Skip") of Moscow; and her pet Sophie. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
