We bid farewell to Eleanor C. Hitchens of Mount Bethel, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 4, 2026 at the age of 79. Eleanor touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Morris and Emma Morris (Green); her siblings, Stephen, Enos Morris and Joan Flyte (Ron Smith); her son Dale Mettler; and her grandson Paul Henry.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Hitchens of Mount Bethel, PA, Catherine Parry (Terry Parsons) of Bangor, PA, Darcy Flyte of Easton, PA and Michelle Mettler of Michigan; and her pet Baby. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
