Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Carol Ann Joraskie of Mount Carmel, Pennsylvania, born in Fountain Springs, Pennsylvania, who passed away at the age of 85, on April 8, 2024. She was predeceased by : her mother Eva Bovidge; her husband Francis R. "Fritz" Joraskie; and her siblings, Diane Smith, Bonnie Krupa and Robert Metzinger (Yocky).

She is survived by : her sons, Thomas McSurdy of Aristes and Michael of Sunbury; her grandchildren, Ross McSurdy of Stokesdale, Shannon McSurdy of Newark and Michael McSurdy of Elysburg; her great grandchild Piper McSurdy; her niece Michele Krupa; her great-nephews, Chris Yucha, Justin Slotterback and Joseph Serovich Jr.; her close friend Andrew "Andy" Sincavage of Elysburg; and also, Justin JJ Slotterback, Khloe Slotterback, Kevin and Lisa Sincavage of Elysburg.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of Our Lady (47 S Market St, Mt Carmel, PA 17851). A Mass was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 12:20 PM at the All Saints Cemetery (172 All Saints Rd, Elysburg, PA 17824).
