She was predeceased by: her parents, James A. Kauffman, and Dorothea V. Kauffman, Sr. (Walsh); her husband John H. Ruppert, Sr.; and her daughter Karen Thomas (Hale). She is survived by: her children, Linda Bixler (Michael) of Mt. Holly Springs, David Hale (Barbara Kachik) of Snow Shoe, PA and Allen Hale (Barbara) of Carlisle; and her siblings, James Kauffman, Jr. (Martha) of New Cumberland and Virginia Bone of Camp Hill. She is also survived by six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
