With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Donald L. Hershey of Mount Joy, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Donald left this world on November 30, 2025 at the age of 76, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Donald's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Donald's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may he find rest in the embrace of eternity.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Hershey and Betty Hershey (Hollinger); his spouse Gail (Towle); his children, Melanie Murphy (Dennis) of Richmond, VA and Timothy "TJ" Hershey (Darby) of Mount Joy, PA; and his siblings, Darlene Myers, Debra Peterson and Dale Hershey.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mount Joy Mennonite Church (320 Musser Rd, Mount Joy, PA 17552). Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to National MS Society.
