He is survived by: his children, Kelly Force (Matthew), Daniel Mortensen (Tammy Sauder) and Jonathan Mortensen (Lindsay); his grandchildren, Ronin and Maya Force; and his siblings, Marianne Spiziri (John), Frances Finefrock, Robert Mortensen, Elizabeth Pelczar, Patricia Mortensen and Christine Wenderoth.
