Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Alberta Boyd of Mount Lebanon, Pennsylvania, who passed away at the age of 95, on September 29, 2025. In the vast expanse of eternity, may Alberta find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Gergins; her son David Gergins; and her brother Michael Ignelzi. She is survived by: her children, Robert Gergins (Adrienne) and Lisa Wentzel (Jim); and her stepchildren, Patricia Ley (Jack), Deborah Cochran (Joe) and Robert Boyd. She is also survived by several cousins and numerous wonderful grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Southminster Presbyterian Church (799 Washington Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15228).
