Helen Boyas Obituary

We bid farewell to Helen Boyas of Mount Lebanon, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 21, 2025 at the age of 95. Helen touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire her loved ones, keeping Helen's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Aspasia Fortosis and Serafim Fortosis; her husband George Boyas; and her sister Sophia Gazonas. She is survived by: her children, Susan Boyas and John; her daughter-in-law Elise Boyas; and her grandsons, Matthew Boyas (Shannon Draucker) and Michael Boyas (Gabrielle Rudolph). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and godchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Athanasios Greek Orthodox Church (51 Paramus Rd, Paramus, NJ 07652). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
