Helen (Meraklis) Florent Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Meraklis and Angela Meraklis (Mitaras); and her brothers, Samuel Meraklis and Gust Meraklis. She is survived by: her husband Daniel Florent; her children, Gus Florent (Barb) of Mt. Lebanon, Sophia Omiros (George) of Uniontown and Harry Florent (Kathy) of Maryland; her grandchildren, Christopher Omiros of Uniontown, Alicia Omiros McCloskey (Keven) of Rostraver Twp, Dan Florent (Kathleen) of Castle Shannon, Melissa Florent Lepore (Neil) of Whitehall, Michael Florent (Quijuene Williams) of Pittsburgh, Paul Florent and Sam Florent of Maryland; her great grandchildren, Danny, Rosie, Daisy Florent and Alyse Sophia McCloskey; her siblings, Meno Meraklis (Christina) of Maryland and Mary Manios (Frank) of Warren, OH; her sister-in-law Loretta Meraklis of Coatesville, PA; and her cousin Meno Mitaras (Jean) of Pittsburgh. She is also survived by four nieces and four nephews.

Due to pandemic protocols, services by Fr. John Chakos of Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church will be private for immediate family at the Mount Lebanon Cemetery Mausoleum.
