He is survived by : his wife Doris Masse; his grandchildren, Christopher Heilman (Sarah), Elizabeth Greenwald (Jeff), Gregory Heilman, Roy Bower, Mark Bower (Jill), Kristen Miller, Jennifer Henderson (Connor), Matthew Miller, Leigh Valenzuela (Christian), Luke Bower, Michael Bower and Sarah Bower; his great grandchildren, Evelyn, Asher, Joshua and Matthew Heilman; and his grandchildren, Aiden, Madison Greenwald, Lilly, Gloria Bower, Charlotte Henderson and John Valenzuela.

Howard always loved animals, so, in lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts be made in Howard's name to your favorite Animal Rescue Center.
