Joyce M. Alderson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce M. Alderson in Mount Lebanon, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 27, 2025 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard T. Heilman and Mabel Heilman (Cook); her husband William S. Alderson (Bill); her siblings, Dr. Charles L. Heilman, Dr. Robert A. Heilman, William E. Heilman (Bill) and Jean M. Heilman; and her grandson Sgt. Russell A. Kurtz.
She is survived by: her children, Jill Kurtz (Roger), Jeen Harper (Rick) and Jack Alderson (Karen); and her grandchildren, Amanda Murdy (Joseph), Stephanie Kurtz, Emily Williams (Kaleb), Cara Vines (Mark) and Adam Alderson (Mallory). She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Peace Lutheran Church (107 Carol Dr, McMurray, PA 15317). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
