He was predeceased by : his wife Nancy Flaherty Beck; his son Peter IV; his parents, August Beck and Agnes Beck; and his sisters, Mary Eileen Pabst and Jean Hofreuter.

He is survived by : his former life partner Carol Beck Day; his children, Linda, Casey, Patrick, Kara, Jack, Dan, Sabrina, Ike, Piper and Vaughan; and also, Leon and Lawson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Extra Mile Education Foundation.
