She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilkens Wilkens and Anna Wilkens (Lau). She is survived by: her friend Jan; her brother Fred; her daughter Sue; her husband Richard "Dick" Hayes Jr.; and her children, Richard Hayes III (Lynn), Susan Earley (Paul) and Frederick Hayes (Annie).

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Mt. Lebanon United Lutheran Church, 975 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon, PA 15228.
