She was predeceased by : her husband Herbert E. Cable; and her mother Girl Scout (Pittsburgh Symphony Society). She is survived by : her children, Herbert "Chip" E. Cable Jr. (Barbara M.), Christopher F. Cable (Kim M.) and Carolyn Panizza (Eric); her grandchildren, Matthew W. (Jennifer C.), Elizabeth Harper (Derrick), Clay, Chad, Abby Ruiz (Joshua), Colleen, Kate and Erin; and her great grandchildren, Alex, Stella, Samantha, Allison, Hannah, Ben, Eden and Jordan.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Animal Friends, 562 Camp Horne Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
