He was predeceased by: his father John F. Bittner; and his siblings, Edward Donley (Mary Jean), James Donley (Patricia), Mary Alice Fry (Henry), Jean Thomas (Harry), John Donley (Helen Jean) and Ruth E. Donley.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peggy" McIntyre; his sons, Matthew (Taara) and Mark (Trina); and his grandchildren, Evan, Drew, Shayla and Will. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
