In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Vernon had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Vernon may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Book and Mary Book; and his siblings, Margaret, Teddy, Dorothy, Russell, Arthur and Elinor Book.
He is survived by: his wife Judith; his sister Jennie Elkin of Ormond Beach, FL; and his niece Margaret Doan of Salina, KS.
