He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Leslie and Maggie Olive Neely; his wife Bonnie Jean Neely; his siblings, Leslie, Millard, Olive, Pauline, Irene, Grace, Kenneth, Howard, Gene, Dale and Joan; and his sister-in-law Betty Owen (Bob).

He is survived by: his sons, David Neely (Mary) of Morgantown and Daniel Neely (Barbara) of Core; his grandchildren, Braden Neely (Halley), Meg Watson (Josh), Braelynn Neely (Corey) and Grace Neely; and his great grandchildren, Maebry and Kasen Neely. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
